Lansing, MI-- There are individuals after attending MIRRC first human trafficking conference in Lansing ready to help the state eliminate and eradicate slavery in the form of human trafficking. There are people who have had their conscience awaken to this criminal enterprise and are willing to step out to be the voice of hope, help and healing.
From April 13 workshops by some great presenters and frontline warriors to the outstanding speakers on April 14th, the reality of trafficking the crime toward individuals, the violation of human dignity you cannot leave without understanding this was a serious social justice issue that could no longer be ignored!
No longer as a state can we turn our heads or stick them in the sand but we must be open to the cries of the voiceless for help.
Thanks to Dr. Larry Carter, president of Great Lakes Christian College for hosting this call to justice and freedom on his campus. Congratulations to MIRRC for their first conference, thanks to the workshop presenters you were phenomenal, Andy Sopher, Professor Christopher Johnson, Dr. Sabrina Black, Laminda & Denise Uhbayawana, Nikki Jackson and Pamela Hudson.
Much Gratitude to Richard Sands, Dr. Robert Hagerty and York Moore. Everyone in attendance will never be the same. From now on they are equipped to combat 21st century slavery head-on.
Join the journey to proclaim liberty to captives, to restore lives and bring wholistic healing to those who are rescued. If not you, who? If not now, when?
